The Who Behind the What

Peanut comes from a nickname my dad gave me after I was born prematurely.

Throughout the 17 years we had together, he reminded me that the biggest things often come in the smallest packages. He believed big things could come from small steps and the tiniest of beginnings. That philosophy became the foundation of Peanut Productions.

My professional journey began at 12 years old when I convinced my parents to sign a work release so I could earn money for a Corgi puppy and shopping trips to Limited Too, things my working-class family couldn't afford. I went on to work in veterinary medicine, hospitality, public radio, journalism, digital marketing, Fortune 50 financial institutions, and a top-rated international healthcare system. I have served two AmeriCorps terms and, since 2008, built a career in communications and marketing.

In 2018, I founded Peanut Productions to partner with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and businesses on strategic marketing, communications, creative production, and events. In 2026, Peanut Productions absorbed Peanut Yogini Yoga, and now solely focuses on producing yoga events, no longer taking outside clients.

My yoga journey began in 2006 as a path toward healing after the loss of my father and Pa Pou in rapid succession. What started as a personal practice became a tool in recovery then a calling. I offer private yoga instruction, small group yoga classes, and free monthly yoga. I believe simple, safe, and intentional movement (in community!) can create powerful change.
